Hillsoboro- Mrs. Ada Davidson, 79-year-old former Hillsboro resident, died at 5 p.m. Saturday at the home of a son, Edwin Davidson, at Clermont. She had made her home with her son for the past five years and had been ill several weeks. Born March 15, 1880, near Mellott, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Mollie Brown Riley. She married Otto Davidson Jan. 1, 1899. He died in 1942. Mrs. Davidson lived most of her life in Fountain County. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Mellott. Surviving in addition to her son, are two other sons, Leslie of LeRoy, Ill., and Marion of Clarks Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Franklin of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Lucille Sharp of Speedway; a sister, Mrs. Ena Wuthrick of Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crumley Funeral Home here with Rev. Lattimer, pastor of the Clermont Christian Church, in charge. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home.
